Our iconic Heritage of India begins with a grand welcome which is carried in accordance with Indian customs. Registration is carried at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel (Reporting time is 0930 hrs).

Guests are then escorted to Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, Mumbai to board the Maharajas' Express and begin their Indian heritage luxury tours.

The Maharajas' Express then leaves for Udaipur where our guests have their brief affair with the rich Indian history.

Guests can satiate their hunger with a sumptuous on-board dinner and then spend the overnight in lavish cabins and suites of Maharajas'.

Commence your day with a delightful on-board breakfast.

Upon arriving in the enchanting City of Lakes, Udaipur, guests embark on a revitalizing boat ride across the serene waters of Lake Pichola. This is followed by a visit to the magnificent City Palace, renowned for its extensive collection of ancient miniature paintings and the remarkable Crystal Gallery. Within our iconic Indian heritage luxury tours, guests are treated to a glimpse of Indian artistry.

Guests can then indulge in a sumptuous royal lunch at the Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace, nestled within the sprawling City Palace premises.

Following this, guests have the option to either return to the train for a leisurely afternoon or partake in additional services such as:

Subsequently, the Maharajas' Express sets forth towards Jodhpur, the third destination on the Heritage of India tour, providing guests with a comfortable night's rest on board.

After an enchanting evening, guests return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express, which departs for Bikaner.

Commence the fifth day of our Heritage of India tour with a delightful on-board breakfast, offering guests a picturesque view of the countryside.

As guests arrive in Bikaner they can either choose to relax on-board or may also choose to visit either

Lalgarh Museum- where you can witness the architectural marvel of Rajasthan

Deshnok (Rat Temple)- About 600 year old and is known for its sacred rats.

Guests have their lunch on-board and proceed to visit Junagarh Fort.

Guests then proceed for sundowners cocktails amidst the picturesque Sand Dunes. En-route tea break at Gajner Palace.

Our Indian heritage luxury tours are exemplars of fun with luxury and our guests experience the same as they arrive at the sand dunes and are greeted by cocktails, barbeque and folk dances.

Guests later return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express and the opulent train leaves for Pink City, Jaipur.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, kickstart your journey with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort.

Following this, guests continue their exploration at the City Palace or Jai Mahal Palace, immersing themselves in the rich heritage of India. Here, they also have the opportunity to engage in an array of elephant activities. They can opt to paint these majestic creatures, feed them, or embark on a royal elephant ride. This is followed by a delightful lunch.

After lunch, guests have the option to either relax on board the Maharajas' Express or participate in optional activities such as:

The Maharajas' Express then sets course for the ancient Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikriwhere guests savor their lunch on board.

Upon arrival at Fatehpur Sikri explore the intriguing deserted Mughal city.

Later, guests return to the luxurious confines of the Maharajas' Express, where they partake in an enchanting "Indian Evening" before relishing dinner on board—an exclusive feature of our Heritage Train Tour.

Guests retire for the night on the Maharajas' Express.

Arrive at the final destination of The Heritage of India tour, Agra, and proceed to visit the monumental icon of love, Taj Mahal.

Indulge in a Champagne Breakfast feast at Taj Khema.

The Maharajas' Express then continues its journey to the national capital, Delhi.
